Divercity Series: Greek Diaspora
Divercity Series: Greek Diaspora celebrates people of Greek heritage in Australia. Applications are now open, with sponsorships welcome to help get this series Australia-wide.
This series is an independent project solely run by Georgia Politis. Adult members from Series One and Two of the Darwin Divercity Series are the very first members of the new Greek Diaspora edition.
The goal of this edition is at least 50 members, however; if enough sponsorship is received, it can be up to 100 members.
What this edition is about
Celebrating Greek diaspora, Australia wideThis edition of the Divercity Series celebrates people of Greek heritage from all walks of life. Whether you are a farmer or have established a major business, this series welcomes people who are willing to share their story.
The stories will focus on journey, heritage and lifeThe Divercity Series does not focus on how much money, status or influence one person may have. Instead, the stories focus on the journey; creating a legacy for others to be inspired from.
Not every application is guaranteedEach application is assessed by Georgia independently. This ensures complete neutrality and no outside influence. She does not look for status, money or influence. It is focusing on the quiet change makers, or people who have heavily contributed yet are never recognised. Stories must be verifiable.

How to get involved
-
Sponsorship is the only way to get this series past Darwin, where it was established.
The costs of travel, accomodation and being away from general business income can be extremely high for a sole operator.
Sponsorships looking to help cover these costs, as well as other costs such as book production, exhibition costs are welcome.
-
We calculate fees based on scope, complexity, and projected resources, then present a transparent proposal.
-
Engagements range from two weeks for focused audits to several months for comprehensive transformation.
-
Yes, we remain actively involved until solutions are fully operational and staff are confident.
-
Our adaptable methodology serves manufacturing, retail, professional services, and public sector entities.
Please note: Divercity Series: Greek Diaspora
The Divercity Series aims to celebrate individuals who may not have previously had the opportunity to share their story, experiences, or contributions, or who have not yet received recognition within our community.
To ensure the Greek Diaspora edition continues to highlight a diverse range of voices and experiences, eligibility will be limited to individuals who are not currently serving on a Greek Committee, as current committee members already have established opportunities for recognition and involvement within their community and this may be a conflict of interest. Previous committee members are welcome to apply.
Application Information:
The Divercity Series: Greek Diaspora will require an upfront payment of $220 per person. This goes towards your exhibition print and costs associated with this edition. The total value of this participation is $1,000. The series remains non-for-profit.
