Why Sponsor?
By sponsoring the DiverCity Series, supporters play a vital role in ensuring the project has a sustainable future while remaining free and accessible to the community. Sponsorship directly supports the creation, exhibition, and preservation of these stories, allowing people from all backgrounds to be represented without financial barriers. With this support, the DiverCity Series can continue to grow, reach wider audiences, and remain a platform where voices are shared, stories are valued, and community connection is strengthened for years to come.
The 2026 Exhibition will feature Series One (2020 - 2024) and Series Two (2024 - 2026), with an aim of 100 members total on display, with stories.
2026 Exhibition Details
As of January 2026, the exhibition’s location and dates are yet to be confirmed, but these will be announced by February 2026. The exhibition is likely to take place in Darwin CBD between August and October 2026. Entry will remain free, and the display will feature approximately 100 portraits and 100 stories, making it a larger-scale presentation than the 2024 exhibition.
Two books, Series One and Series Two, will be available for purchase. These are the only items for sale, with proceeds covering printing costs and helping to sustain the project into the future.

FAQs
What does the sponsorship cover?
1
Sponsorship helps cover essential costs such as marketing, contractors, advertising, setup, printing, and shipping. A successful exhibition depends on a variety of contractors, services, and products, and while we prioritise supporting local suppliers where possible, decisions are guided by availability, pricing, and quality.
You can choose to contribute directly to the book production, the exhibition costs, or both. The book will be the only item for sale, while entry to the exhibition will remain free. Additionally, exhibition prints will be gifted to each participant at the end of the exhibition (excludes delivery), should they wish to keep them.
Can I cover an expense directly, such as the book printing?
2
Payment can be made directly to a supplier if you prefer to cover a specific expense directly, such as printing or advertising. You will still be recognised as a sponsor and be placed in the category of the dollar amount paid.
Can a group of people make donations under one name?
3
Yes, if there are various people wanting to donate a small amount and group it to a sponsorship package - you can opt to do this and request a certain name such as “Family Name” under the sponsorship tab. We understand times are tough, and we would like to give everyone the opportunity to donate - big or small.
I would like to remain anonymous
4
You are welcome to remain anonymous. Please note that all donations are still subject to GST, as payments are processed through the photography business, and a receipt will need to be issued. If you prefer, you can request to pay an invoice directly toward a specific expense, and we can ensure your name or business is not publicly acknowledged.
